Visit the impressive Golden Age Merchant' houses, along the picturesque canal sides by laid back cycling or by canal cruise. The infamous Red Light District is characteristic of Amsterdam's tolerant disposition, certainly worth visiting. The liberal lively nightlife here proves to be one of the best around Europe. But also a friendly sing along is to be found in the brown cafés in the Jordaan, or visit hip clubs at the Rembrandt plein.
